An Introduction To Halo: Fleet Battles

If you’ve found this blog, it means you must have at least a passing knowledge of this wonderful wargame or the universe it takes place in. If not, then know that Halo: Fleet Battles is a tabletop wargame developed by the now disbanded company, Spartan Games.

Fleet Battles sells itself as an easy to learn, lore-infused, tactically-rich gaming experience that appeals both to experienced wargamers and fans of the Halo Universe.

If you enjoy war gaming, miniatures, lore discussions, or even just meeting and talking to interesting people and groups, you’ll love getting into the world of Fleet Battles.

Though Fleet Battles has been lacking official support since 2017, the dedicated community still works hard to support this game. The Halo: Fleet Battles community remains the biggest group of players, creators, event organizers, and hobbyists that continue to update, contribute, and play the game. And I’m sure you’ll be able to find your place in the community among them.

Depending on what part of the hobby you want to get started with, the best place to start with it all is in the official community discord, Halo: Community Discord.

The discord is home to Fleet Battles, Ground Command, and even other fan-made war games. Hundreds of people can be found inside the discord, with their combined expertise and knowledge able to help you get into any of these games.

A Fleet Battles community drive can be found, as well as many 3D files of the different ships required for the games. You can also find resources for custom resin casted ships. A map is available of the different players  If you want a digital format of the game, you can find a version of the game on Tabletop Simulator.

I hope that this page helps you start your journey into the community of this game that we all love. If you choose to, this blog will update with Fleet Battles related content that may be of interest to you. Thank you for your time.
